FAQs
What are the health benefits of kombucha?
Our kombucha has less than 3% sugar, the minimum required for our kombucha SCOBY to produce its gut-loving probiotics. These probiotics support digestion, boost your immune system and help maintain a healthy balance of gut bacteria.
How should kombucha be stored?
Our kombucha is unpasteurised, so we recommend keeping your bottles in the fridge, to ensure the gut-healthy probiotics stay alive.
Does kombucha contain alcohol?
A minimal amount of alcohol is produced in our kombucha during the natural fermentation process. We have our kombucha laboratory regularly analysed to monitor this and ensure any alcohol traces remain well below legal New Zealand standards.
Can kombucha aid with digestion?
Kombucha is rich in probiotics that foster a healthy gut microbiome, enzymes to help food breakdown, and organic acids that aid in protein digestion. Together, these elements work together to promote smoother digestion, potentially easing issues like bloating and indigestion.
