Our Story
Little City Kombucha is the new incarnation of Wellington cult favourite, Plimmerton Kombucha.
In 2018 we started brewing raw kombucha in a shed in Plimmerton, calling ourselves, unsurprisingly, Plimmerton Kombucha. Great flavour was our goal from the start and the locals caught on quick. As a result, we ended up pursuing those same taste sensations from a bigger shed in Kenepuru.
In 2022 we took our success to the next level with a new name – Little City – and some fancy new packaging. The only thing that hasn’t changed is inside the bottle.
When you make a kombucha as good as ours there comes a time you want to shout about it a bit more, or at least flutter your eyelashes a little.
We haven’t changed our batch brewed, hand crafted ways, we’ve just scrubbed up, combed our hair and put on some classier threads.
We reckon Little City Kombucha is the finest in Aotearoa, refreshingly carbonated and made delicious with a range of natural flavours.
We’re now as fancy on the outside as we are on the inside.
